This makes me think of when we all have to don’t think hard, think smart. One beautiful, sunny day my dad stated, “Why don’t we buy a new 10 gallon tank and colorful fish?”
We had to buy a couple new fish because we already had the other fish died. My dad said, “It had pop eye disease (Eye Disease bacteria makes a round white covering the eyes).” We could upgrade our fish tank from a 2.5 gallon tank to a 10 gallon tank and buy more fish instead of only one. The fish that died a few days ago was a blue Betta fish, it is the most aggressive fish in the world. We should never put another betta with the other betta. It is nicknamed Siamese Fighting fish. The name of the dead Betta was Johnny. A betta is a fresh-water fish.
We went to Petco and bought a fish tank and decorations for the fish to rest and play. Tanks need good bacteria and good temperature because the fish will have a new water source than what they had at the store. After 3 weeks we put in a conditioner so the fish wouldn’t be toxic (poisoned).
After 6 weeks we went to Petco and bought 4 neon colorful tetras and let them go in 15 minutes from the bag. We put them in the tank and the next day they got sucked into the filter and died because the filter was too powerful for them. Then we put in the conditioner again and got new fish after 3 days. Then we bought baby girl betta, one gray eating fish, and 3 pearl danio. We took all the fish home and then after 15 min let them go. A day later the betta or the gray fish was biting/fighting the 3 pearl danio.
We returned the Betta thinking it had bitten the three Pearl Danio “It is the Siamese Fighting fish” ️ that's why we returned it. After a couple days we realized it was the gray fish fin nipping, the gray fish also killed 1 silvery pearl danio. It turned out it wasn’t the betta fish who was fin nipping it was the gray fish. We took the gray fish and put it in a bowl separately. We fed the gray fish in the other bowl. It died within one week.
We went to Petco and When we asked why our fish were dying, he stated, "Did you put in a conditioner, good bacteria, and clean water?" We didn’t put good bacteria in the water. We bought a good bacteria and then bought three goldfish.
We took home our goldfish and placed it in the tank with the bag then after 15 min we let them go because they don’t survive in a bag with not enough air. When we buy the fish we leave the bag in the water so they can take a good look at the new fish tank. After that day no fish died. We have now 2 glittery Pearl Danio and 3 orange shiny Goldfish.
