About The Raayu Children's Writing Program
The Raayu Children's Writing Program is designed to teach childrens K-6 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) through story writing. Writing stories can help manage emotions, provide a positive coping mechanism and develop a lifelong habit. Student Writing is published to our catalog. This is to motivate young learners to pursue positive communication in their lives.

About our Approach
What Happens when you Choose Raayu?
Learning in the Classroom
Libraries, classrooms in schools, and even outside! Raayu Children's starts by teaching story writing basics to our young authors. Core concepts include: Setting, Rising Action, Climax, and Resolution. K-2 (US) will often listen to Read-Alouds by our Volunteers. Post Program Surveys are sent to Teachers and Parents to continually create a safer space for young writers to express their thoughts, feelings and imagination.
Write Whimsical Stories
Go Bananas! Our writing focus of each lesson, beckons imagination, through genres such as: Fantasy, Personal Narratives and Expressive Writing. Authors often illustrate their very own novels, and work with partners to create a magical plot. After providing a fun theme, we encourage children to write creatively while employing elements they've learned from the lesson.

Publish Around the World
Raayu Childrens' Programs begin with a promise. A promise to publish the written work of our authors young at heart, to the library at Raayu.org. This oath encourages the pursuit of reading, writing and knowledge within the future generation. Every year, we add 60-100 new stories to our library from classrooms and libraries all around the globe. You could be next.
